Owner and Founder

Hoa received her Masters of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology and Special Education from The University of British Columbia, with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Hoa has been working with individuals with ASD and their families since 1997. She gained valuable clinical experience, apprenticing in San Jose, California where she became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). She consults with families and schools, designing and supervising Applied Behaviour Analysis programs for children and youth with ASD.

Additionally, she has completed the BC Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA) Personal Trainer Certification at Douglas College. DataDay Fitness is the fusion of her passions: health and fitness, and helping this special population achieve their greatest potential. 

At a young age, Hoa was trained in ballet and jazz. She also participated in various track and field events. Hoa is an avid runner and hopes to complete a half marathon on every continent. She also enjoys strength training, tennis, and hiking.
